My goal as a movement teacher is to create playful, experiential opportunities for children to build their physical skills in an inclusive way. My background as a theatre artist and playwright, infant developmental movement specialist, baby sign language (ASL) instructor and certified children’s yoga instructor and theater educator (K-12) all contribute to my integrated approach to movement with young people.
Using skills honed in the yoga studios and classrooms of New York City for many years, Jess's family workshops and professional development events offer play-based, age-appropriate and practical tools for parents and educators.
Jessica has led professional development workshops to the staffs of many schools including Kids Centric, Inc, Jefferson Elementary (Westchester County), Lysée Français of New York, and Harlem Children's Zone.
You better believe that little ones can do yoga! In fact, yoga may come from natural human developmental movement. Jessica's yoga classes offer playful bonding experiences, familiar songs, and age-appropriate ways to engage the body and mind of both the adult and the child. Private family or small group classes available by request.
Drama, acting, playwriting and storytelling take the magic off the page and stage and bring into the lives of young artists. Jessica's inclusive classes are designed for ages and skill levels. Private audition coaching for young actors available by appointment.

"Thank you so much for a brilliant workshop. You are an amazing resource in our community. I took away a lot that I’ll be using in my personal life and also with my clients." Carol W.
